Dr. Lopez brings to Smylife Dental over 25 years of experience in the dental field. He is interested in physiology, managing medically compromised dental patients, oral surgery, and complex oral rehabilitation with implants. Dr. Lopez graduated as a dentist from Javeriana University in Colombia and later specialized in Oral Surgery and Pathology at the same university. Later he became an assistant professor in oral Surgery and Pathology at Javeriana University.

Upon coming to Canada, he had to re-qualify his degree. He graduated with honors obtaining the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Western University Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. He spends some years teaching new generations of dental students at Western University.

Dr. Lopez is a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, The Academy of osseointegration, The International Team of Implantology. He enjoys being with his family, hiking, canoeing, and playing tennis in his spare time. Dr. Lopez is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Antonio Luna brings more than 30 years of orthodontic experience to Smylife Dental; born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Dr. Luna received his dental degree from Javeriana University; he later attended a military university received his orthodontic degree. Dr. Luna became an orthodontist professor in two universities in Colombia and two universities in Mexico. He delights in seeing the incredible transformation and happiness he brings to his patients.

Dr. Luna is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Harbor Dental Society. Dr. Luna enjoys spending time with his three beautiful women, his lovely wife, and two daughters in his spare time.

Throughout my studies, I have achieved degrees from the University of San Martin in Colombia and the University of De la Salle Bajío. I enjoy meeting patients, listening to their dental needs, and helping them plan a treatment that fits their needs and budget. We help you regain and maintain your oral health while giving you an amazing smile.

I love going early morning hiking, casual walking, or biking with my husband in my spare time. And of course, spending time with my wonderful two children and lovely springer spaniel.
